Welcome to Nerang Community Respite Care Assn!
Through hard work, commitment and passion we have developed a reputation on the Gold Coast for an innovative attitude towards service delivery.
At NCRCA we have always been committed to supporting clients to maintain their independence; enabling them to ‘enhance the quality of life’ by remaining living in their homes within the community.
Staff and volunteers at NCRCA are recruited on not only experience and qualifications, but also on commitment, values, personality and PASSION. We are dedicated to ensuring that all services and support are planned, prepared and delivered to a very high standard with a focus on constant improvement.
Flexible, innovative and passionate are just a few of the key words that could be used to define the motivation and success which has enabled NCRCA to become a key provider in the Gold Coast area.

Our ‘home away from home’ – 31 Martin Street, Nerang QLD





Each day 'guests' are treated to a lovely home made morning tea and two course lunch, activities, games, themed days, guest speakers and/or entertainment. Transport, meals, activities, entertainment, companionship and much much more are all a part of this program.
Primarily for adults with physical disabilities - each day our guests are provided with the opportunity to 'access the community'. Transport, meals, scenic drives, movies, pubs & clubs and social interaction are all a part of the day.
Connecting with the community - sharing, enhancing, growing current skills and/or learning new ones while creating 'platters 2 please'. Several times a year Nerang Respite is invited to provide platters for a variety of functions.
NCRCA provides a range of in home services - domestic assistance, social support, personal care and respite care are options available within this service.
Hairdressing is offered to our clients and their carers in our centre on a daily basis, by appointment. Podiatry is also offered every six weeks by appointment. Costs are reasonable.
